DONALD HOLDEN Donald
Holden's watercolors are in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan
Museum of Art, New York; The National Gallery of Art, Washington;
The British Museum and the Victoria & Albery Museum, London, and
therr dozen other museums in the United States and Europe. The Washington
Post comments on Holden's watercolors: "Few can claim mastery of
the medium. Donald Holden is one of them. The painting highlight
his consummate skill as a watercolorist...his quietly spiritual
lartistic vision...akin to such modern masters as Cezanne and Paul
Klee. A subtle power emanates from his pictures. A master watercolorst."
